There is a lot of advice on the internet available when it comes to searching for a new job. This advice includes how to fill out the best application form, how your CV should look and also how you can get good at interviews. However, did you know that looking for a job does not have to be as laborious as all of that? Now, thanks to the power of our smartphones, looking for a job can be as easy as updating your Facebook status.

Realistically, this shouldn’t come as much of a surprise. Technology has come so far in the past couple of decades to the point that events you would normally have to leave the house for can happen right in your home. Do you want to go to a concert? Live stream it. Do you want to go to a casino? Check out gambling websites and play on some of the best online casinos imaginable. Looking for a job? There are apps for that. This list will take you through exactly which apps are best for job hunters.

    Career Builder

Once you have gone through the process of creating your Career Builder account and you have your details saved on their system, you’ll be able to apply for jobs with just two taps of your finger. This makes it incredibly easy to look for work and apply all within a matter of seconds.

    Indeed

Similarly with Career Builder, Indeed is a great app when it comes to seeking out new jobs with just a couple of taps of the finger. You’ll be able to look up a variety of different companies and apply to work for them using your Indeed details, which will stay on the app making for a speedy application.

    Glassdoor

Glassdoor has a massive database, which is perfect if you are on the lookout for a prospective employer. They offer a huge range of different and anonymised company reviews, as well as a detailed breakdown of salaries, interview methods and advice on room for growth in different roles. On the app you’re also able to save different jobs, allowing you to come back to them whenever you like, as well as apply for different jobs and even be notified when new positions come up that relate to your range of skills.

    LinkedIn

LinkedIn is used frequently not only by people who are looking for work but also by those who are serious about networking, including businesses themselves. Thanks to its powerful job search function, there is a variety of different roles that will be suitable to whatever it is you would like to do.

Using the internet to search for jobs is so common now that the issue lies in how you conduct the search as opposed to where the businesses you are searching for might be. There are a variety of different apps available that will make looking for your dream job all the more easier, so it would absolutely be worth your while downloading these apps and letting the search begin.
